No such thing as one reality, one single truth. There are at least 7 billion realities and one more is added every fraction of a second. All we have is a tragic comedy that unfolds in a perpetual theatrical production that each one of us direct and choreograph.
As we shape our reality with how we chose to think, perceive, feel we also forge others realities, those that we cross as we go along in our unconscious insanity.
We are all mutants, psychological, emotional, mental mutants. We are masters of this ethereal strategy game, we shift to adapt to life’s theatrical acts with the single objective of achieving the leading poll position. It’s almost morbid but also hilarious.
It does sound arrogant but realizing this single truth about humanity has made me experience existence in a totally different way. We have a pathological aversity to responsibility and accountability, particularly for failures, both inner and outer failures. We spend most of our existence trying to find all the scapegoats that explain our inability to achieve perfection.
We are chronically addicted to the ecstasy of success. That sweet moment when we manage to fully manipulate a fraction of reality and get to the illusory poll position.
I no longer believe in personalities. I believe that we do have a core that does not easily mutate because we need it to define and affirm our uniqueness. Ironically there is no such thing as uniqueness. We are so amazingly alike, that this all battle is nothing but the ultimate betrayal of the human mind veiled from what is truly real. Contrary to all our theorists, our professors, our thought leaders, I do believe that all of us have the ability to transform this core, and no need for major stressful events for this to happen.
I have willingly and consciously influenced the results of every single personality test I have had to complete for professional reasons and I have to control myself to not burst into laughter when I listen to the other side giving me feedback, solemn and profoundly solid.
Personality is but a categorization, somehow we forgot to ask if it is really possible to categorize something that cannot be truly measured – thoughts, feelings, emotions, desires, wishes…..
It might be morbid to live with the realization of this truth but it is above all hilarious.
We are what we think. Our thoughts create our emotions and our emotions create our thoughts. This is the infinite cycle of existing, thoughts and emotions in eternal fusions, influencing what we say, how we say it, how we act and react. How we forge others’ realities. “A person is a person through other persons” the Ubuntu principle.
